We opened the Stodola Restaurant for you in the summer of 2021. Our mission is to introduce you to South Bohemian cuisine with a modern twist. We are surrounded by the Lipno nature and the Bohemian Forest landscape which give us the inspiration. The seasonality and freshness of the ingredients are the most important ingredients for us. As with our recipes, you will also find a link to the history of Bohemian Forest in the interior. You can get to know the old Bohemian Forest from the beginning of the 20th century in the photographs made by Josef Seidl. His panoramas and gentle sense of capturing people of that time, presents the ordinary everyday life of the last century, when wood was harvested in the dense Bohemian Forest forests and then sailed along the most famous Schwarzenberg canal.

Come and taste our modern gastronomy with a traditional base in South Bohemian cuisine. Chef Michal Hruda has put together a team of excellent chefs for you, with whom he will conjure up delicious traditional sauces and their modern versions.
"Old Bohemian recipes have always been one of my favourites. I can recall the smell of freshly picked herbs and my grandmother's excellent cooking skills. In order to pass on these experiences to the guests of the Stodola Restaurant, I have compiled a modern concept of South Bohemian recipes together with my team, and I believe that Stodola's guests will return to us often.”
